This morning my glands attacked me! My throat hurts, my nose is runny and I feel completely icky. I am at home today, listening to the jet fighter spin cycle of my washing machine, the chirping of pigeons & crows and lot of Rachael. All I need now is a dry sauna, loads of cool water and some infection fighting white blood cells on Team Jessica! Annnnnd perhaps a pedicure and back rub
I leave you with a glimpse into our past weekend. . .
{rue Mouffetard}
We walked down to the river and stopped at Eric Kayser for a baguette and pastry to munch on. This woman somehow smiled her way in front of us in queue. I had to get her photo 1, because I love it when people ‘cut’ in line- i think its so funny that they think they deserve anything more or more quickly than the people standing behind them 2, because I LOVE old people and 3, because ALL the elder Parisian women wear fur. EVERYDAY. Of course I despise killer fur wearers, but I like to tell myself that women of this age are simply from a different age- another time- a foreign way of thinking….

Here we get back to my admiring affection of elders~ I hope to have the bold demeanor of this woman when I am her age. No make-up, bikini top, sunning herself alone on the Seine the first day in March!

Our apricot-pistachio tarte! it may not look the best but it - was- INCREDIBLE!

And this last image is from the raclette dinner that Laurene & Adrien served us last week. It was SO fun!
