Paris is turning as I write here and now; into the beautiful, warmer, happier days that I so love living. I spent the afternoon at the Gardens with my last book and the morning finding my week’s flavored tofu and fresh produce at the open market on Rue Mouffetard. It is so fun to see where all the produce we buy here comes from; certainly some from France but others from Makaresh, Peru, Ecuador, Espana….I like to imagine the fruit from its infancy and how many hands its touched, turns its made and storms its weathered to find itself in my kitchen to fridge to tummy. If you see me walking alone with an unprecedented grin it could very well be from my latest great fruit journey.
Last week I was online ’shopping’ and found this ring, I think I need it….

I also bought this tee last summer which is totally appropriate, I need to start wearing it tho …
and I am thinking this for David for this summers’ beachy romps in Southern France….
yea, I agree Perfect for David.
I snapped a couple pics with my p&s at the Garden today just to prove how beautiful it is. . . . and the last pic is from Sunday afternoon, I just adore these leafless trees; still full of life somehow~ shadowing the clouded sky with their spiny tentacles.

And last but not least, a shout out to the one and only Billy Joel, for lifting my spirits and keeping it real- for the most part. “…but its sad and its sweet and I knew it complete when I wore a younger mans clothes. . . la de da de da la de la, sing us a song toniiight. Well we’re all in the mood for a melody and you’ve got us feelin alright.”
bisous,
