This morning I woke at 5:30a so that I could get some early morning shots of the Pantheon and Eglise Sainte Genevieve without the mounds of people that tend to get in every shot after 9a this time of year….gotta love living in the Tourist Captial of the World! I really enjoyed myself being out so early. Its always surprising to me how quiet big cities can be in the wee hours of the morning; its so peaceful and beautiful.

many of the restaurants and locally owned boutiques close during the month of August- if you’re going to come and visit Paris during the Summer, avoid end of July-end of August!
